Aspen Expeditions adds Adventure Travel

Have you ever hoped to ski the European Alps, trek through Nepal, scramble in the Dolomites of Italy, or paraglide from the top of a mountain? Aspen Expeditions, founded by Aspen local Dick Jackson in 1978, has now added to its list of activities by offering new adventure travel to various national and international locations. Aspen Expeditions is promoting Aspen, Colorado as a destination for adventure travel, including such trips as "The Aspen Seven Summits" and the "Maroon Bells Trek." Other featured trips done internationally include a ski along the European Haute Route, a trek through the Gokyo and Khumbu Valleys, and many more. Yesterday, I was fortunate enough to accompany some of the Aspen Expeditions staff and locals on a trip up to the infamous Highlands Bowl in Aspen, Colorado. Click below to check out some footage of the exhilarating hike to the top of the ridge, right before an amazing ski down.
