CALLING ALL STARS......
To STORM ahead
Here is your chance. Find two people to "team up with" and challenge others, maybe another department in your organization and/or a business in the Roaring Fork Valley and feel super that your combined contributions will benefit the American Transplant Foundation and Chris Klug Foundation.
There are many ways to challenge and make this fun and exciting among your peers: a. See which team raises the most money - agreed upon prize goes to winners (i.e. get lunch delivered or made one day at the workplace) b. fastest combined time as a team (or individual) up Aspen Mountain - winners get their car washed by others c. Slowest combined time as a team (or individual) - winners each get a Slinky from the other team d. Best Costume - winning team gets a bottle of wine to share at the top of the mountain purchased by the other team
Here is the low down:
Storm the Stars - Saturday, December 2 at Aspen Mountain at 6 pm Individuals or Teams (consisting of 3 people) can sign up Race benefits American Transplant Foundation and Chris Klug Foundation Cost is a minimum entry of $200* (includes registration fee and donation to foundations) Sign up early and make it easy for people to donate on line

*You might be saying, "How can I raise $200?" - well, we came up with the following suggestions. Skip a couple of sushi blow outs Ask 20 friends/family member to each donate $10 See if your supervisor would like to sponsor your team's registration (3x$40 or $120) and each team member raises $160 each (see ask friends/family) Eliminate your sports betting for a couple of weeks Ask 10 friends/family members to each donate $20 Have date night at home Reallocate your "apres" money for opening weekend at Highlands Ask 5 friends/family members to each donate $40 Throw out your Williams Sonoma, Victoria Secret, REI, Sharper Image, Athleta and Neiman Marcus catalogs
