From X-Games 11 to The Ski Tour: One Short Snowy Break for Aspen-Snowmass

X-games 11 is on the way out, while the snow is coming in; in the past 24 hours we got another 10" of it on all four mountains and more is underway, so make sure to check out the weather & snow report, before you book one of our last-minute online special.
But this is only a very short break, as Aspen-Snowmmas will soon be back in the game with the Aspen-Snowmass Open (Feb. 8 to 11). Over 200 athletes are expected to compete ski and snowboard in two disciplines - Slopestyle and Superpipe. Then, starting Frebruary 22nd through the 25th the very much anticipated Honda Ski Tour will take over the town and the hill.
Local columinist, Alison Berkley got to witness the first Ski Tour stop in Sun Valley, ID; for a sneak preview of what is in store (just to name a few; atheltes Tanner Hall, Simont Dumont and Casey Puckett, or even artists George Clinton and Tommy Lee, with more to be announced) for us read her account of the Honda Ski Tour scene in the New-York Times.
