SNOWMASS' NEW WINTERSKOL RAIL JAM COMPETITION DRAWS NEARLY 60 COMPETITORS IN FIRST YEAR

(Snowmass, Colorado) -- January 14, 2008. During Snowmass Village's "Some Like It Hot" Winterskol Day on January 11, Fanny Hill was smokin' hot with a new rail jam. The Winterskol Rail Jam competition drew 58 competitors from as far away as Australia, Utah and the front range.

"This event really exceeded our expectations," says event organizer Josh Behrman. "It was a phenomenal turn-out and fun to watch with big moves and a great mix of local athletes and visitors."

The Winterskol Rail Jam sent riders off a rail, a box, a staircase and a wall in 4 categories. The first place winner in each category took home a $240 cash purse prize. DJ Mechanik doled out sweet tunes as crowds checked out the action. Boulder performer Lynx kept the mall scene happening as well with her free concert, and the day concluded with a huge fireworks display.
